Ah. You’re one of those that think Ham was punished by being made negro.
Except, it was his fourth son, Canaan, who got cursed as a slave.

This is why i think Ham was gay. Or bi.
I mean, 8 people, close quarters, taking care of all the living animals for a year, i doubt anyone had much in the way of privacy.
If Ham had a secret, like missing a lover that was drowned in the Flood, Noah would know. or suspect. And sailors are REALLY skittish about gays.
So after Noah got sloppy drunk, and learned that Ham had seen him naked, he did not swear off all wine.
He did not curse himself for choices HE made.
He did not curse HAM for seeing him naked.
But Noah had three sons, Ham had four. In many cultures, this makes Ham more manly than Noah. So the fourth son was the one who really shamed Noah. And he’s the one that was cursed.
Fits the story.

But then, who really gives a shit about a fictional family on a boat that never was built.
