There is nothing this President can do that will ever satisfy the people Trump has on countless occasions demonstrated his monumental incompetence, his selfish and petty nature, his spiteful and erratic temperament, his utter lack of integrity and sincerity. Even in the rare cases where he is nominally doing the right thing, he is doing it for the wrong reasons, and he invariably screws up.

Trumpery, on the other hand, is sentient, and while his sapience could be considered dubious, he seems to be capable of a (very rudimentary and twisted!) concept of right and wrong, and he is rather apt at twisting the truth to fit his narrative, manipulating fellow primitive minds and abusing power for his own enrichment, if nothing else, so I do count him as capable of being evil.

Yes. If Trump had magical virus-sucking powers and had gone into politics rather than medicine, to either replicate and spread this power, or dedicate his time to curing the sick, yes. Even ignoring the fact that that makes no sense, I doubt if Trump has that power he would even consider using it unless everyone prostrates before him and gives him all their valuables.

Well, yes. I hate the coronavirus as much as I hate last weeks storm that had me rather anxious. That is, not at all. Hell, I’d hate it even less than a Lion that would cripple me out of hunger (Lion’s doing what it needs to survive, the virus literally cannot do anything else; it’s like hating water for being wet). But I do hate Trump for choosing to be a colossal asshole that screws over billions of people for no real reason.
I always knew that Fuckabee was unfathomably stupid, but this is something else.
I have far more respect for viruses than I do for republicans or christians.

The current American government is so catastrophically out of touch with the very concept of doing the right thing that their best attempt to invent an act of benevolence comes out sounding like the world’s weirdest and most ambitious series of sexual assaults.
And incidentally dumping an infectious disease into the ocean where it could conceivably continue surviving and evolving until it gets to the point where it jumps species barriers and runs rampant through the oceans which cover the vast majority of the world thus spreading the threat wider than before tainting all ocean life and subsequently ravaging everything that depends on the ocean as a food source, which includes humans and other animals that are a food source to humans, rather than doing something straightforward and sane that any normal person might think of like restoring funding to medical research (which Trump cut) and coming up with a cure or vaccine (which Trump has helped stoke unfounded fears of) instead of a self-aggrandizing fantasy of hidden superpowers performed with the creepiest possible physical interactions whose motive is more to inspire personal awe in an individual than to actually eliminate the disease is exactly the kind of idiotic out-of-sight-out-of-mind non-solution we would expect from this idiot and quite dramatically highlights the complete lack of any capacity for long term thinking or the immediate consequences of any actions we’ve all grown so tired of. And the fact the worst, most indignant criticism you see is “it pollutes” rather than the aforementioned creepy sexual assault aspects where it’s just assumed people will consent to Donald Trump running up and putting his lips on them to suck things out of their bodies or much more seriously the myriad actual ways it could potentially backfire making the situation worse just underlines the reasons everyone not mindlessly repeating Trump’s meaningless chants are so sick and tired of the Trump administration. It’s as dumb as trying to nuke tropical storms out of existence, something Trump has actually suggested before. And even if it wasn’t ludicrous on it’s head, didn’t take a few liberties with people’s bodies which has been something of a running theme in the man’s life, and didn’t backfire horrifically despite the potential for it but somehow actually contained the problem the plan being at its very core displacing the problem onto someone else’s doorstep rather than actually dealing with it generates an entirely different set of negative consequences all on its own as it is a statement to the rest of the world about how little concern America has for performing unilateral actions that spill out beyond their borders and into the sovereign territory of other countries.
To boil it down to a level a modern GOP voter or indeed the people they vote for can understand since they seem to prefer voting for people they feel are intellectual equals rather than those with greater sense and decision making skills looking down on anyone they fear might be smarter than them it’s like dumping a garbage bin full of dirty needles, used surgical tools, and other medical waste on the lawn next door because that’s as far as you thought about getting rid of it when your neighbour is a big believer in the castle doctrine and a germophobe. (Although they wouldn’t need to be one to see the dangers of a pile of dirty needles or be offended by the crap - including literal human crap - on their lawn.) And an angry neighbour with a gun and the perception of a threat to their health and lives as well as an intrusion onto their property is the least of your problems in that scenario and pointing out that you also dumped their garbage and a few other neighbours’ out on the lawn alongside yours like you were doing them a favour isn’t the best way to defuse the situation.
