Yes, agreed. To stop it going round it is best to finally recognise that there is good evidence that Jesus is the Son of God

" there is good evidence that Jesus is the Son of God"
And just as much evidence Odin is protecting Midgard. I mean, have you seen a Jotun recently? I know I haven't. Surely, that means Thor is making good on his promise to keep them at bay.
The posting to which this relates says:
So just the small matter of showing that he was the son of god.
Why would anyone assume this was true, until there was good evidence for it.
And so it goes round.
So it would seem to be just as good to admit that the evidence isn't there and abandon claims that Jesus was the Son of God. Unless, of course, you're prepared to produce the evidence. It would seem that you're not a lawyer or a scientist, nor do you work in an academic discipline.
To stop it going round it is best to finally recognise(sic) that there is good evidence that Jesus is the Son of God
Translation: Think like me and all will be well - your problem is that you're thinking for yourself when you should be letting me (or someone who thinks and believes like me) do it for you.
Fixed.
BTW, what evidence? The 'witnesses' to the resurrection were dead by the time the gospels attributed to them were written and the tomb Jesus was interred in has never been found. Even if it were, there is no proof that the miracles described in the bible were ever performed. If someone were to make similar claims today you'd demand proof. It makes no sense to believe the bible is 100% fact without passing it's claims through the same filter.

Hermes isn't a sun god, but the messenger of the Greek pantheon. He is more associated with messengers, communication, thieves, movement, wits, and rogues.

To continue them going around, it is best to finally recognise that these two are good evidence that Celestia & Luna are the Daughters of Goddess Fausticorn. /)^3^(\
...meanwhile, you are now hearing "Spinning Around" by Kylie Minogue in your heads.

So the internet is evidence that Hermes exists?
If you believe this sort of thing then Jesus quotes Psalm 82 and claims we are all sons of God.
John 10:34 Jesus answered them, "Is it not written in your Law, 'I have said you are gods'”
Psalm 82:6 "I said, 'You are "gods"; you are all sons of the Most High.'”
Females of course didn't count.
Why oh why must you persist with this unholy torment? How many times must I endure this tantalizing torture? You hold out this sublime hope of me being one of the elite and becoming an especially favoured individual, only to cruelly dash my hopes once again. How mean of you! How hateful of you to always withhold the secret compelling evidence of Bible God from us.
@ Mathius_dragoon:
When every person I have ever met has been the result of sexual reproduction involving a contribution from a human male and a human female...
When every human being I have ever met who claimed divine or extraterrestrial origin was mentally ill...
... why should I, a rational human being, accede to such an illogical assumption?
My only possible rejoinder to such a request would be, "Why don't we, for the sake of argument, just assume that he was just another sweaty little con man? Surely we would have better odds of being right."
No, we recognize that there isn't any evidence whatsoever that Jesus or any gods exist.
What did you say? The Bible? Well, the Quran is evidence that Allah talked to Muhammad, then, and The Goblet of Fire is evidence that there are Merpeople.
Confused?
