No violence, no shooty. Violence...shooty. I don't care if you're throwing rocks or fistfighting officers or whatever.

Exactly. If you want to fight, then fight. But you don't get to half-fight, and play these stupid "tee hee I'm using exactly this much violence and so you can only use exactly this much violence against me and if you use more then it means you're bad and I win!" No. Pick one. Words or violence. Your choice. But you don't get to choose violence, then suck at violence and act like you're wronged in some way because you lost.

It's already how it is for people of my political persuasion. We've had one riot in the last 20 years. I wouldn't notice any difference.

Oh, no, it isn't, you sweet summer child. It's not about your opportunity to fistfight cops, it's about people -- not you -- who'll decide that you might as well be hanged for a sheep as for a lamb and start to fight government seriously. You know, bombings, assassinations, things like that. At best it will look like The Troubles in the UK.
