I'm pretty confident this crime had nothing to do with cannabis, and that it has a lot more to do with the 'father' being a psychopath.

Even if it was PCP I'd be pretty sceptical of his drug use having anything to do with it. People don't act violently just because they're high.

Same goes for the cannabis abuser, if he kills anyone after geting treatment.
Fuck treatment. Even if it was reasonable to blame such a grotesque murder on drug use, which it isn't, cannabis is one of the mildest, least addictive drugs known to humankind. This makes the Twinkie defence look good.
You guys know what cannabis is, right? If it could cause this kind of behaviour, every other surfer, hippie, frat boy, Rasta, rapper, shaman, chemo patient, comedian, etc. out there would be a cause for alarm. I live in a country where a decent majority of people use or have used cannabis; chances aren't bad that the rates are pretty high in your country too.
With that out of the way, this is sick. Too fucking sick for me to contemplate.
