The left doesn't care about science. Science is a roadblock to the black genocide has been going on since 1973. The left just wants to continue with the average of 1,900 black babies being aborted every day in the United States.

I also don't see why His4Life thinks it's a woman.

I am interested that hammer here apparently feels his or her faction are the true champions of science, which the left is only pretending to support while it secretly subverts it in order to fool black women into aborting all their potential children and sitting around with empty nests.

I mean, seriously. I was raised in a small town in upstate New York where the only black kid was the son of a seven-foot retired sporting figure and his little blonde wife, and the richest, fastest, and coolest kid around. Decent character, too.

And when I was seven I asked my parents where all the black people had gone because there seemed to be so many more in books than real life--I actually thought there'd been so much interbreeding the dark pigmentation had been diffused through the population and been tragically lost, because we didn't have TV to loop me into the outside world. Mom and Dad had to set me straight. But I was SEVEN. Hammer is not a seven year old in a house without television. Hammer is a grown-up on the internet.

Or possibly a teenager.

Of course finding the actual facts on such a loaded subject is never going to be easy, but the 'All Other Persons' blog has - IMO - a very measured analysis here.

A quick overview:

Abortions per 100 live births have held steady in black women since 1973 (when there were 42.0) to 2004 (when there were 47.2). Over the same time period abortions per 100 live births fell sharply in white women from 32.6 to 16.1. Hence as of the last figures released by the DHHS and CDC there are approximately 3 times as many abortions (per 100 live births) among blacks as whites. These figures are a lot more up-to-date than those commonly found on pro-life sites, so either they're unaware of them or, as I suspect, they reject the recent data since these show a marked decline in abortions (in whites) that doesn't fit with their agenda.

However the blog doesn't stop there. It also notes that there are 98 unintended pregnancies per 1000 women of black origin compared to 35 per thousand women of white, again almost a 3 to 1 ratio. And also the abortion rate is ~4 times as high among women living below the federal poverty level compared to those significantly above it, and again, so is the unintended pregnancy rate.

Finally, AOP quotes another report based on the responses of people electing for an abortion, "Three-fourths of women cite concern for or responsibility to other individuals; three-fourths say they cannot afford a child; three-fourths say that having a baby would interfere with work, school or the ability to care for dependents; and half say they do not want to be a single parent or are having problems with their husband or partner."

So if you want to reduce the abortion rate, alleviate poverty.

It is those that would make abortion illegal again that are the real threat. They would act to trap untold thousands of black women in poverty, or more likely force them to risk their health and liberty pursuing illegal alternatives.

Yep, the Christian right cares so much about black kids conceived by people not in a place to take care of them that they:
-promote comprehensive sex ed
- lobby for universal pre-natal health care
- support the expansion of WIC
- support easier access to higher education
- support low-cost or free day care
- push for mandatory paid maternity and paternity leave like some country's have
- push for reproductive health education so that women know what their options are, what procedures could cause infertility, what questions to ask their doctors, when to get gynecological exams
- push for female empowerment education that reminds women that their worth is not defined by their relationship to men
- gives women hope that they should delay having children because they have so much potential and can be focusing on education, career, making sure they have the right partner/support system to raise kids,etc.

Oh, wait....

Exactly where does science take a stand on who controls a woman’s uterus, the woman or the state legislature?
What scientific formula places her anyplace but at tje front of the line to decide her own fate?

You’d rather that the poorest workers be forced to have and provide for more kids than they can afford? I mean, the rich will always be able to get rid of an inconvenient baby of their daughter, secretary, maid. But pro-lifers are putting women in danger and keeping the poor (white or black or whatever) poor and overwhelmed.

Hey, if you’re comfortable with the costs of raising a kid, the risks of pregnancy, the mortality rates of childbirth, the access to care you enjoy, make your choice however you want. It should be your choice, not mine, that’s what i’m saying.
