Americans were highly respected because they were Christian moral. Both foreigners and children will be respectful of Americans if America starts respecting God again. There is no other solution. Humans do not respect blasphemers, baby-killers, parent-bashers, traitors, nudists, or merchants of ill-gains. America needs Christianity for salvation and the sense of respect. No respect for God = No respect for anyone or anything including human life. Humanism brings death. Jesus brings life to all who trust in Him. The West must not hate the Saviour of the world, whom their good forefathers loved and respected.

If America were to all convert to Christianity, it would be a disaster. Each church would own an area a few streets out before jutting onto some other church's patch. Roving gangs of armed believers would patrol these areas, shooting at the "heretics" a few streets over in a bloody civil war with a million sides.
And the rest of the world will look on with horror and disbelief. No respect though.

Yes I'm sure that Europeans, who are mostly atheists, and Middle Easterners, who are mostly Muslims, would be ecstatic if everyone in our country became bible banging born-again Christians.

Seriously though, the US respect thing is about a) commercial muscle, b) military power, and c) human rights. Christianity? Not so much.
Hi, Gracie, a foreigner here. If America embraced the Gestapo-style theocracy the Dominionists want, I promise you foreigners like me will lose what ever respect we have for America and it's people. Of course, we'll still provide aid to the resistance movement I guarantee you will pop up, because what you want is the diametric opposite of actual freedom, and a theocracy is never happy just to live and let live - if we let your brand of oppression slide, you'll try to enforce it on us, next, because the simple existence of anyone who disagrees with you in the slightest burns you like salt on a wound.

The US was founded on the principles of the European enlightenment, none of which anything to with the crock of shit calling itself christianity.
The number of church goers is rapidly declining, even in the US, which is why christians are making so much noise. That, & many of their more influential leaders are either mercifully dead (Falwell, Phelps) or already have 1 foot in the grave & will be dead soon. Not soon enough to suit me.
The US is already a laughingstock BECAUSE of the shit christians say & do, & their political party calling itself the GOP.
