What if the zygote has two Y chromosomes? What if it has two X and a Y? There are biological girls with XY, who lacked a certain enzyme during fetal development, so they continued to develop as girls. All embryos start out as girls, ya know; that's why we all have nipples.

There are environmental influences, like the more boys a woman gives birth to, the higher the chance is of the last one being gay. It's almost like nature wants to provide an extra caregiver, if something happens to the older brothers after they have kids. It's also like nature is making sure that not too many people have kids.
Correction: Your genotype is set at birth, not your gender. Your physical sex matches your genotype most of the time, in the sense of that least one Y chromosome normally develops as male, and no Ys normally develops as female. Your gender matches your physical sex most of the time, but occasionally doesn't.

Easy. DNA also determines things like which pheromones you will react to once you start attaining sexual maturity, as well as some of the wiring in your brain. Seems pretty cut and dry to me.
As to the idea of pure genetic determinism, bunk I say. Environment shapes who you are, with your genetics as a starting point. Of course, "nature vs nurture" is a long-standing and spirited debate. Which is why someone like you likely wouldn't grasp it.
