I’ll add, many of us lost a lot of respect for her when she cowered to the woke leftists and stripped “Dixie” from Dixie Stampede. It was a cowardly move. She may have come to regret her knee jerk reaction as so many others have. Even so, the stain is there. Dixie is the South—her home and soil—and she let outsiders tell a Tennessee mountain girl to be ashamed of it. That is embarrassing, shallow, and cowardly. -RJ
