I don’t agree with same sex marriage because men and women were created the way they were for a reason. Notice how only a man and a woman can have children? There’s a reason for that. I’m allowed to have my say, too.

Who are you that your approval of some marriage matters, though?
If I'm getting married, I don't give a flying fuck if some guy I've never heard of approves of it or not. Because that's the line I've always heard in arguments about gay marriage... "I don't recognize this as marriage" or something..... Who cares?

Doesn't even need a man
So if you're a woman past menopause, or were born with or acquired a condition that renders you infertile, or have no intention of having children, you'll also be barred from marriage? What if you've found a partner you wish to spend your life with and have had children with them, but never bothered to get married? Do you plan on forcing these people to get married?
Thinking isn't really your strong suit, is it?
Ignoring the fact that it's technically possible for two men or two women to produce children (because fundies don't recognize trans people by their actual gender), and ignoring the fact that real-world hetero marriage isn't always about children... for all practical purposes, marriage hasn't been so much about *producing* children as it is about *raising* them. And lots of people raise children who aren't their biological offspring. In order to be completely consistent in banning same-sex marriages for that reason, you'd also have to ban the marriage of step-parents and adoptive parents.
English is not your first or second language, or what? I'm a Swede, and English is my second* language. I clearly see that you can't handle the difference between singular and plural.
I (a woman) have been together with a man for nigh on 30 years. We've been having unprotected sex since 1998. In 2002 I had a miscarriage in week 11. Not all men and women are able to have children, asshole!
It's called "say-so", isn't it?
* I might add that German is my third, French is my fourth, Latin my fifth, and Italian, Spanish and Greek are fighting for the sixth place. Sadly I understand, and am comfortable with speaking, Spanish much more than I am with understanding and speaking French... I've studied French for three years. I've never studied Spanish in school (nor Italian or Greek).
Yes, you are allowed to have your say. And everyone else is allowed to ignore your say, because it's based on feelings, religious faith and not facts and is also void of legal authority. Fact: Opposite sex couples who can't or don't want to have children can still freely marry. Would you interfere with their right to to do so? The United States is not a theocracy, and if I don't follow your religion I'm not obliged to follow its' rules, understand?
Of course they know and ignore the fact that at lest 10% of couples cannot have their own children.
Your whole damn religion is a collection of sort of, kinda, but not really, absolutes. Right?
And no one said you didn't have a right to have your say, but let's be honest, is that actually 100% YOUR opinion?
Confused?
