If we're talking about impressive performances in heavy metal, let's talk about Angela Gossow , and her recent successor in Arch Enemy , Alissa White-Gus . Both women are quite happily heterosexual.
(Oh, and as an added bonus, unlike the shit-storm surrounding Ms. Olzon filling the Nightwish role vacated by Tarja Turunen, there was no controversy surrounding Alissa--one, Angela didn't even actually leave Arch Enemy entirely, since she's now their manager; and two, Alissa was Angela's choice to replace succeed her).

And the idea that men & women can "become" homosexuals - that is, changing their brain chemistry, hormones & pheremonal reactions at will - is something right out of a poorly-written sci-fi novel.
Ugh, the whole "being gay is a choice" nonsense again. There are lesbian feminists, but a woman need not be a lesbian to be a feminist. Men can be feminists as well. Does David even know there are male feminists out there? Or would that make his head explode?

Goomy, its sexist because it lays all the blame for homosexuality on women. Its a male problem too. Incidentally, I do believe you "become" homosexual in certain circumstances. Some are tragic (ie, a young boy being molested by another man and learning to identify his sexuality with that experience) and some are choices (a husband and father sneaking off to see the local Johns at the gay bar at night).
