"my friend has been alone for a few weeks" he's the only one to blame. No muslim in his right mind would ever reveal publicly that he has committed fornication or that he has stolen something or that he drinks alcohol.
so why does your friend reveal publicly that he's gay? what did he expect when confessing in a video that he is attracted to men ? what he does does not concern anybody and if he's been alone for weeks it's his own goddamn fault for doing something so stupid. what did he expect when he revealed this fact? God doesn't approve of homosexuality, does your friend expect to be accepted by muslims? It's like saying "I LOVE DRINKING BEER AND WINE" and expect to not be judged. your friend is an idiot for doing this and he's now suffering the consequences of his own stupidity. He could have gone to an imam and explained his problem and asked for help but no, he had to make a pointless video on his blog like a brainless teenager.
