This kind of free thinking reason is very anti-Christian. Your not supposed to ask questions... just have faith.

The full quote, "This kind of free thinking reason is very anti-Christian. Your not supposed to ask questions... just have faith. By the way a salamander would have been a better example. They can regrow entire severed legs complete with digits."
I would to say this is not fundie, but more sarcastic.
If Franklin, Volta, Edison, Westinghouse etc. didn't ask questions you wouldn't have a computer to post your drivel on.
"I do not feel obliged to believe that the same God who has endowed us with senses, reason, and intellect has intended us to forgo their use and by some other means to give us knowledge which we can attain by them." --Galileo
Also, obvious sarcasm is obvious.
Good answer arachdog. Simply and correctly label those who disagree with you as (here's the surprise) being people who disagree with you. Then conclude that they are wrong because they disagree with you. Can't argue with that! Well, actually I could, but it would be a waste of oxygen.
Another question he answered:
I belive my judgement is superior to God's. Does this make me a sinner?
Answer:
I agree its quite probably that your judgment along with many others is better than the 'god' written about in the bible. It not surprising considering that you are probably far more educated than the writers of the bible were. What I don't understand is how you can come to this realization and still call yourself a Christian. If god is capable of making such simple mistakes in judgment and in doing so exposing his fallibility. How can he possibly have created everything without stuffing it up big time ? Common one more step, your almost free.
So sarcasm, anyone?
My favorite all time bumper stickers =
On the left side; "Question Authority"
on the right side; "Why?"

Hey, if 'arachdog" means he is an 8 legged dog, I bet he runs FAST!
Stupid answer, but really, a stupid question. If God existed, I'm sure the motives of a being able to create an entire universe and reality are, quite beyond our comprehension. (Why didn't you do it this way? Why didn't you do it that way?) We would not put limits on the imagination of a great genius, let alone Lord Tunderin.
If you read the entire quote, I believe the guy was just being sarcastic
In fact I think the question and most of the responses were being sarcastic. Cute though.
Reason is the enemy of faith, my friend
A head that's filled with knowledge is soon too bloated with its own weight

So...
Think with your heart
It's the only organ for salvation
Think with your heart
Don't deduce yourself to eternal damnation
Think with your heart
For you know that the Almighty sees us

Whoever heard of the bleeding brain of Jesus?

[Thanks, Bork]
No fundie would ever admit this. I like it.
I figured out at a tender age that the bible writers were content to throw any old god into their book, because the one described therein is obviously an incompetent impostor. [Kinda like the bobbleheads in the Dubya gubmint.]
Humans can do the same thing, just not innately. We have to 'play god' to work these kinds of 'miracles' but it's doable, just not through faith, but science.
"You're not suppossed to ask questions..."
Why am i reminded of V for Vendetta, and communist russia?
Confused?
