Leaving the deathstyle
I'm Just a "noob" but I know I can do this. I've been reading some otf the arugments against leaving the homosexual lifestyle (which I'll call the Homosexual Deathstyle from now on) and I just can't believe so many people are deceived by the Devil. Especially those who can call themselves Christians.
All the studies and statistics in the world can be used to prove anything one way or another but what really matters is what happens in a persons actual life.
I would like to start this thread so that people will know that leaving the Deathstyle is possible. I left it behind when I found Christ. I want to encourage other people on this board to contribute to the thread thier own personal testimony of leaving Homosexuality. I KNOW there are many on this board who have.
If you're some kind of skeptic I'm not really interested in hearing from you. However if you are a Homosexual who is struggling and wants to talk about things and you aren't afraid to listen to God's honest truth then you are more than welcome.

Sure, it's possible for gays to ACT straight for the rest of their lives. It's equally possible for straight people to decide to ACT gay for the rest of their lives.
I'm sorry, but endorsement by personal testimony has negligible value when it comes from someone who refers her thoughts, opinions and values to a higher authority. You're going to need more than just that to convert me.

Here's an argument against leaving the homosexual lifestyle: If you're gay, you will always be gay. There is only one door out of the homosexual lifestyle, and it's not an exit door it's the closet door. You will always be gay, whether you deny it or not. Instead of leaving the "homosexual lifestyle" and pretending to be straight, why don't you just admit who you are and ignore the bigots who tell you that it's somehow wrong to be gay.
And if you can't simply ignore them, maybe you could fuck 'em. Homophobic bigots turn out to be closeted gays more often than you think. Just look at Ted Haggard!

No it isn't. Sexual orientation cannot be changed. The most you can do is deny it. Look at Ted Haggard. He acted like an ordinary straight person for years, and even ranted against homosexual people. Then he cracked.
If you're gay, you always will be. If you deny it, you'll be miserable. Maybe you'll crack like Ted did.
