In a short video posted on FunnyorDie.com entitled, "Prop 8 The Musical," an all star cast of Hollywood celebrities perform a low budget musical farce that defames Christ, mocks Christians and distorts the teaching of the Bible.
"Jack Black should remember from his days at Hebrew School that homosexual acts aren't funny and are roundly condemned in the Bible," said Dr. Gary Cass, of the Christian Anti-Defamation Commission. "Appearing as a sarcastic, rotund Christ, Black distorts the Bible and condones shameful, homosexual acts. Associating Christ with perverse activity is an affront to all people of faith, especially Christians. Apparently Black and company find it hilarious to falsely accuse Christians while they intentionally distort the Bible. Black ought to apologize."

I propose that if Christ is pissed off at Jack Black, he personally come forward himself and demand the apology.
EDIT: I just watched Jack Black and company. It was hilarious but more to the point it attacked the hypocrisy of the Christian Right on this issue. Too bad Dr. Cass and crew missed the point.

As it happens, the bible is a crock of shit. But what's an even bigger crock of shit is anyone that utilizes the bible to gain control over others. They are unspeakably evil people who deserve complete mockery 24/7, every where. Of course, knowing despicable human behavior as we do, the bible isn't the only evil tome doing the rounds. Other parts of the world have their equivalents.

Dr. Gary Cass should remember from his days at Coral Ridge ministries that kids from Hebrew Schools don't like fundie Christians trying to force their beliefs on them. The "jews for Jesus" thing you and Kennedy tried to put together didn't work so well, did it? I do see you stole the anti-defamation name though. I really didn't see any distortion in the play and quite honestly, I found less cherry-picking than in the average fundie tract.

Jack Black could apologize but he has nothing to apologize for. Leviticus condemns eating shellfish, along with homosexual acts. Those who quote from Lev. to condemn gay acts are most likely hypocrites as they ignore the other rules listed in the book. Although I didn't really care for the video, (The gays were way too flamboyant for me) it did have a point.
