Unfortunately, instead of calling sin what it is, anytime a Christian says "homosexual", they're ATTACKED for anything they say regarding the topic... [that is unless they fully support homosexuality]

So even tho you have a valid thread topic (ie. anyone participating in this type of behaviour is doing wrong and in sin), just the slightest mention of GAYS will get you bashed no matter what it is they're doing.

That's how it is today - but that's ok, the human courts can judge you negatively here for it, but wait till they get to God's court where homosexuality IS unacceptable

John the Baptist was thrown into prison for daring to speak the truth to the King, that he was committing adultery... and ultimately had his head cut off for relaying the truth.
We don't do that here, but the situation is the same. Speak the truth about homosexuality & sexual sins and feel the wrath.
I await a much higher court tho

Because it's usually followed by "...will burn in hell" of some flavor...and then "But I don't hate the sinner. ^_^" you use religion to suppress a group, and then wonder why we lash back?

No, they're attacked if they're saying hate speech such as "all homosexuals deserve to die," "gays are not human beings," "gays are abominations," etc. You have the right to your opinion, but that doesn't make your opinion right.

Again, it's when you refer to them in a derogatory manner that merits criticism. And why shouldn't it? Wouldn't you be bothered if someone referred to Christians in a derogatory manner?

Adultery =/= homosexuality. Adultery is when you're unfaithful to your partner or spouse. Sexual orientation has nothing to do with it. Many homosexuals do practice fidelity, just like many heterosexuals do.

WHAT?! The King had John the Baptist's head cut off? Damn, that ruins my whole perception of Elvis! I'm sure John was being a complete dick about it, but still...you expect better self-control from "E."

I also await the ruling of a much higher court. THE PEOPLE'S COURT. If anybody can resolve this Fundie vs. Gay issue, it'll be Wapner.

Statistically, any time a Christian says "homosexual", it's in the context of "Those evil/godless/satanic/deviant/etc homosexuals are trying to indoctrinate/brainwash/whatever our children and must be stopped!" OF COURSE you're going to be called on it for saying something so stupid/inane/prejudiced. And, naturally, anyone who opposes your pastor -- whose words are ALWAYS true, because, you know, he's a man of GOD -- must automatically be "attacking" you. Get over yourself.

Um, since when is consensual sex with one or more consenting adults "doing wrong", or "in sin"? Do I need to mention Ruth and Naomi? How about Jonathan and David? Were they "in sin" for their love?

It's not the mention of gays that gets people upset -- it's your attitude towards them, and your irrational hatred and paranoia.
