RE: Danish article: How do you raise your daughter to be a strong woman - and your son not to become "an offender"

The interest thing about this is that Denmark is viewed as a gender equal country - and we are. But the third wave of feminism has consequences. For young boys. Who, by the way, systematically are underpeforming in our society.

The text under the titel says: "Nine advice for what you can do in your home, so your kids wont get [confused] of the many different expectations society has to men and women"

Also, this article came today. The same day our Minister of higher education and science said that there is a link between McDonald's gendered Happy Meal toys and women's choice of education. You can't make this shit up.

I am sorry, but Denmark is NOT an equal country.

Only men are required to serve in the military.

Only male genital mutilation is not forbidden by law.

Only men can be forced into parenthood.

Only men are literally excluded from protections from domestic violence, as only 'women and mothers' are mentioned in the law.

All while the danish women's association did nothing to change these issues, in the last one even argued in order not to change the law to a sex-neutral one...

There are definitely some issues, but there is in every society. I would say that Denmark rank highest in terms of being the closest to create equal opportunities for both sexes. That said, I would not be surprised if Denmark has been getting further away from that. With all the special treatment women gets.

Because every society is gynocentric, and does not give a shit about men.

It is true, that some issues have been brought up, but it's been like 1 out of the 4 lately... And even in the peak of discussion on forbidding male genital mutilation just as female genital mutilation is, feminists were picketing people to protest for the rights of women to keep covering their faces...
