Exodus is proof of the bible? Not hardly. There is no evidence that points to a mass exodus of Jews from Egypt in any time period. And no one can still determine exactly which mountain is Mt. Sinai. So the exodus is a bad example of proof of the bible. Let's not forget to mention the Jews, according to the bible, didn't cross the RED Sea, but the REED Sea, which was both a mistranslation into the English language, and historically unviable. Now, the bible does say that the sons of Israel (Jacob) will always be fighting with the sons of Ishmael. But we must remember that not ALL those of Arab descent are descended from Ishmael. And the Palestinians are not descended from Ishmael. The Palestinians are actually a combination of Jordanians, Syrians, and Lebanese who moved into the 'holy land' after the Jews were kicked out and the christians basically let it go to waste. So you fail from a biblical/historical standpoint.
It's not a prophesy, moron, it's an order. And their opponents' religion has similar orders to fight for that same worthless scrap of desert. I suppose you could call that a self-fulfilling prophesy, I just call it two groups of belligerent idiots doing the same thing they've always done (squabbling like children) and making a big fucking mess in the irrational hope that this time it'll have a different result to every other time.
I bet this same guy would, in another debate, throw out the "Palestine doesn't exist!" defence of Israel, but can you expect consistency from these types?
Confused?
