Homosexuality and rape are both violent acts. They both show a disregard for the sanctity of marriage. They both are performed without any intent of procreation. The one violates the sexual organs of the victim and the other violates the appropriate application of sexual organs and those of body functions. In some cases the homosexual act, even where consentual, is reduced to mock fights and forced submission.

>>Homosexuality and rape are both violent acts.
No they aren't.

No they don't.

Most sexual acts are performed without any intent of procreation.

LMAO Is that the best you can do?

And that's exclusive to gay sex? Also, WTF is wrong with some dom/sub action? You fail, Fundie.
Wow. Yeah, I'm sure someone who was raped would totally agree with this.
'In some cases the homosexual act, even where consentual, is reduced to mock fights and forced submission.'
lol, wtf? Yeah, this guy is a real expert on gay sex, I tell you what.
HOMOSEXUALITY. IS. NOT. VIOLENT!!!!
Marriage has nothing to do with whether or not something is violent, nor does procreation. The "appropriate application of sexual organs" is to do whatever they are capable of doing with them. It wouldn't feel good if God frowned upon it so. Also, there is no sanctity of secular, legal marriage rights, and many people have no intent to procreate, or even the ability to, yet still mate.
"In some cases the homosexual act, even where consentual, is reduced to mock fights and forced submission."
Proof or GTFO. Obviously, someone has not been watching enough gay and straight porn and comparing and contrasting them thoroughly in order to determine that there is no significant differences to speak of in the manner that both groups indulge themselves.
I may have said too much...
The only violence I see about gay people is the religious vultures that take such joy in tormenting them. And if anyone close to you was raped, you would not talk as ignorantly as you do. You don't see it as a horrifying thing, just another stone to throw at people you don't like.
"In some cases the homosexual act, even where consentual, is reduced to mock fights and forced submission. "
For people that hate homosexuals they seem to know alot more about gay sex acts then anyone else I know
"In some cases the homosexual act, even where consentual, is reduced to mock fights and forced submission."
Key word there: consent, presumably informed consent along with some safeword to abort the scene. Also, I know of a few heterosexual couples who indulge in this behavior as well. It is not the norm, but if it's done between consenting adults in private, along with appropriate safety precautions, it's NONE OF YOUR FUCKING BUSINESS.
Little Nipper (Is Nipper a new word for penis?) should realise that homosexuality is not an act. It is a qualitative noun, and therefore a state rather than an act.
As to the sanctity of marrige, Nipper should realise that divorce is far more destructive of marriage than anything else, and he/she needs to demonstrate how homosexuality can in any way damage marriage. For a homosexual to wed a heterosexual wouldbe far more damaging of the state of matrimony, surely.
Nipper, evidently, has not heard of contraception, it seems.
Nipper's last sentence, as quoted, is meaningless. I assume he/she is referring to bdsm/bondage and that sort of thing. But Nipper can hardly be so ignorant as not to realise that such elements are also part of heterosexual sex-play.
Do fundies have hidden cameras in every gay home in the country???
Nippy, I would wager a significant sum of money that consensual "mock fights and forced submission" occur between straight couples as well.
Mm. Fail. Homosexual sex is sex. Loving and tender or wild and kinky, it's not really that different from straight sex. Rape, however, destroys lives, leaving the victim emotionally damaged for the rest of their life usually and causeing severe physcial damage that is not only exceedingly painful and humiliating, but depending on how violent the rapist was, can leave a woman sterile.
So homosexual sex is always horribly violent, while heterosexual sex, therefore, is always so beautiful it creates puppies and rainbows when you're done?
I think your understanding of human sexualty broken is.
(And I can think of at least one rape victim I know who would probably like to smack you upside the head with a ClueBat if she read your [FAIL]analogy[/FAIL].
(It was many years ago, and she is now happily married and has children, fortunately, in case any of you were worried--but still: unconsensual, forced sex beween two people ? consensual, loving sex between two people, unless you're in some kind of bizarre alternate universe where the rules of logic do not apply.))
So if you raped with the intention of knocking up your victim, that'd be ok? Oh really?
Shut the fuck up. Rape is a violent crime, and consentual gay sex is an awkward stain on the carpet, at worst.
I am married and my husband and I have never had sex with the intention of procreating. That's eleven years of sex for the sake of sex. Aw, man, does that mean I sinned?
You cannot make homosexual people into something they are not. Not for the sake of your demented imagination, and not in the name of your mythical god.
Wait, wait... so, along with the magical STD-protection and baby-filtering powers fundies claim a wedding ring has, it also stops rape? Stop the presses! We've got an instant solution to 99.9% of all the world's problems!
Seriously. How did LN get so retarded?
Rape is wrong because it is horrible to the woman, not because it violates some perfect ideal of God.
Wow what a fucking ignorant douche.
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
