That answer denies that the concept was invented specifically for the purpose of oppression.
That is not part of the atheists narrative.
I’d say that the idea that it is merely a “relation to a real phenomenon…skin color” is a strawman fallacy, in the sense it is aside from the point.
The main thrust here is the invention of a construct solely for the purpose of oppression.
Atheists know that is true with regard to religion, but don’t say a word in regards the ‘white’ social construct.
If Atheists and Humanists are against pernicious social constructs, they should vocalize an opposition to, or at least a consistent explanation of the invention of ‘whiteness’.
That’s selective ethics.
