My wife, also a Christain woman, went into labor at 5 months. They did everything they could to postpone the delivery and speed up their development. babies born at that point have a lot of issues, such as lungs not being developed fully. So the longer the baby stays in there, the better for the kid.
A month later, Twin #1 came out. There was no stopping him, but #2 was in a separate sac, so they hoped to leave that one there for longer. ANY time longer would be beneficial.
Last thing #1 did before exiting the wound was kicked #2 hard enough to rupture the sac. Then there was an emergency Caesarean performed to keep #2 alive.
The technology does not exist, and certain didn’t exist in 1994, to seal and refill the amniotic sac, much less reattach the placenta/umbilical/uterus. Stuffing the baby back inside would have been a wonderful option. #2 spent a month more in the hospital than #1 did, and came home on supplemental oxygen, and they all had respiratory problems for most of their school years.

I will admit that MAYBE you’re just telling the story you were brought up on, like my Great Grandma’s claim that we’re part Apache, which doesn’t show up in our genealogy.
But if you bought that story, holy fucking CHRIST you’re ignorant of basic biology. And you were 22 when you insisted she isn’t lying.
