I've read the Bible. I've read the myth in question. It went like this:
Angels had nookies with mortal women, who gave birth to giants.
A lot of giants were running around.
A brief mention of the mighty king Nimrod, but nothing much is described apart from "He was a mighty hunter before the Lord" (though his name, nowadays, inexplicably means 'a real doofus').
People "became evil" & started "Thinking of violence constantly".
Because (it's implied) that pummeling & killing each other was in vogue for everybody, God found Noah & his family, who weren't into killing for funzies, and made Noah build a really big boat.....

Which rabbis? When? Where? The only ones I can find who have said anything like this are the Ultra-Orthodox Noson Leiter and Yehuda Levi who blamed Hurricane Sandy on gay marriage.
