As a Christian parts of our brain function that does not function for non christians. There is evidence for that when they scan the brain. Without religion mankind would all die off. Non religious people have a reprobate brain, they have not advanced and developed a regenerated brain the way people do that learn how to function in a loving, caring religious community.

Citation seriously needed for that "evidence". I've had both a CAT scan and an MRI, and the doctors didn't say "We see here that you're agnostic".
We atheists function perfectly fine in a loving caring non-religious community.
I just saw an item about brains actually bring different for the religious. They didn't opine that the brain was better ...just different. We see many posts here from people who are not in "a loving, caring religious community", but are in a bigoted, hateful, judgmental Christian community, and they prove it by spewing bile about all other groups. What do brain studies say about them?

I also remember a study done about what areas are active in prayer and worship, I believe those same centres "light up" when one is doing something they enjoy. In one case a guys "worship" centre would light up when they played a recording of his motorcycle ride.
There was nothing special or better reported when connected to worshiping at church and there most certainly was not a connection to these people being more loving and caring. It made them feel good and comfortable, not more caring. And then there's the studies that show strict fundamentalist conservatives (Specifically Christian Right Republicans)show no empathy for others.
This is something Fox and Beck and preachers do regularly. Take small results (or completely manufactured ones) and claim there's evidence being Christian makes you better. The very stats of very Christian America disprove that, this is their damage control to counter the actual news as usual.
