Ex-Gays Defeating satan & embarrasing pro-gays

I ‘m just wondering what other people think about someone converting from gay to straight along with a saving relationship with Jesus Christ.

I believe the bible says homosexuals are going to an eternal BURNING HELL because of the sin of sexual idolatry.

I believe the bible says homosexual behavior is a grievous sin. As one pastor put it, when God says “the end” in the bible, homosexual is the period at the end of the sentence. Biblically it is human depravity in its lowest state. It doesn’t get much lower.

I can only feel sorry for those that don’t want to escape this horrible fate – to be joined forever with this sexual idol with worms crawling over them screaming in agony, for somebody, anybody to help them. But it’s too late, and they burn forever -- what a horrible fate. I wouldn’t want it on anyone, but the bible says it is true.

Jesus said it with His own lips, “This is the Condemnation, that light came into the world, but men preferred darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil.”

Don’t join the horrible parade to hell’s gates. In God’s eyes it’s a shameful thing, not something to be proud of. Escape while you still can.

Where the heck does he get that? Homosexuality is just one of many things prohibited by the Bible. There's nothing to suggest it has any special importance relative to other prohibitions. If God were so concerned about homosexuality, why didn't He put it in the Ten Commandments? He put adultery and coveting your neighbor's wife in there. How come we never hear fundies foaming at the mouth about those things the way they do about gays? These people just make up any stuff they like about the Bible to justify their bigotry.

I'm thinking they're not as much ex-gays as much as they are gays who repress their feelings for your jealous god.

Even if homosexuality is a sin, your pastor is just overexaggerating because he hates gays and he's trying to make himself look better than them because of his heterosexuality, even though in your god's eyes he's just as bad as the rest of us.

God gives people same-sex attraction yet it's a sin. Yeah. I see no hypocrisy here.

And committing suicide a few years later. or getting some bathroom sex while their wife thinks they're working late or something. They are not cured, they're lying to themselves, and in the process, causing great harm to themselves and those around them.

I know the Bible also says that the wealthy are undeserving of heaven, too. And some bits about "love thy neighbor as thyself..." You guys tend to forget those bits...

So...rape, murder, extortion, degradation slavery...none of tat compares to homosexuality. Why it's so bad, he reserved it for it's own condemnation, not even including it in the 10 big sins? Care to explain that one? How if it's so reprehensible, it got, what, two mentions at best in the Bible? Two mentions that theologists are becoming less and less sure are even about blanket homosexuality when compared to the original texts?

I will not live a life without love, and to deny my homosexuality will mean just that.

Why is there sexual idolatry to love someone of the same sex, but not in the love between man and woman? It's just the same, two people loving each other.

Personally I find it much more depraved to kill people, to molest children, to lure people to take drugs, to force others into prostitution, to abuse others, to steal from others. Basically, I don't find it particulary depraved to love someone...

Did Jesus talk about homosexuality? Chapter and verse please, and from the Bible, not from some pastor's interpretation of the Bible.

Converting from gay to straight? It is not a conviction you can grow tired of, or convert to or from. And doesn't it sound kind of gay with "saving relationship with Jesus Christ"?
