Men know they are shit, which is why they talk and act the way they do. They are ironically much more easy to crack, so long as specific protective measures are taken to avoid taking damage from his inevitable melties when ego is under threat. Once they feel insulated from consequences, and once he realizes that there is absolutely nothing he can do to prevent or punish disclosure, he will readily open up. It’s cathartic to them to be vulnerable enough to discuss their “demons” and not face rejection for it. I do not recommend attempting it, since even without a candid confession, moids are not clever enough to obscure what they are, especially not when every other male in existence is doing their part to blow their cover in some way or another. They are extremely obvious to read if you have a modicum of pattern recognition and aren’t currently gaslighting yourself into refusing to read them.

The effort getting honesty out of any particular male is neither worth the investment nor the risk.
