Okay, I’m still a bit new to LGBT issues, but I think I have some solid arguments against anti-trans bigotry:
1) It’s a free speech issue; if you suppress LGBT people’s existence, you’re a suck-up to Big Censorship.
2) We already have several terms to describe ethnicity (https://liberapedia.fandom.com/wiki/Humans), and a few more terms to describe people who are multiheritage, so why can’t gender and sexuality also be deemed phenomena that are fairly diverse?
3) There’s already a good number of terms for non-binary genders from the public domain (https://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Non-binary_gender#Examples_of_traditional_cogender_identities). Sure, these are mostly from non-Western communities, but that still means there’s something traditional about not being strictly male or female.
4) Conservatives can also be LGBT. Too many people complain about how everything’s too “political”, typically referring to anything that’s either “controversial” (because the fact that seemingly innocuous things can cause flame wars has convinced several people to avoid “rocking the boat”) or “partisan” (which is often hogwash from people high on dualism). If anything, it’s anti-LGBT stigma that causes controversy, and organizations like the Log Cabin Party and LGBTory prove that “the gay agenda” isn’t inherently liberal.
Obviously, it’s wrong to whitewash or ignore LGBT people who do or say reprehensible things - Caitlyn Jenner comes to mind - but this bigotry seems like hot garbage from an apologist to fascism (or communism if you factor in the horseshoe theory). The OP is just another fundie who hates the Golden Rule and thinks “the Bible has ALL the answers, because the main characters KNEW it had all the answers from reading the whole damn thing themselves” or some shit.
