I was reading the pages about the child sex trauma myth and found them interesting. I had initially thought the same thing about female rape in that western women are conditioned from cradle to grave to believe that rape is the worst thing that could possibly happen to them and if it happened, then they would be immediately traumatized by it, no questions asked. The scientifically documented nocebo effect.
