To them no other factor may be used to explain non-white peoples failure.

You know, i wore a hospital gown earlier this year. They’re designed for the benefit of the nurses, as they can be installed and removed without getting the patient out of bed. They’re pretty cheap so no one cares if there’s blood stains that won’t come out. They allow the doctors access to whatever body part they need to examine.

This is not meant to shame you. Some people feel shame when wearing one, though, as that draft hits places normally covered by modest clothing.

Teaching history should shame the people who made history. The slavers, the racists, the sexists. Doesn’t have to shame anyone who thinks the slavery, racism, sexism was wrong. Feeling shame for something done in 1880 is your problem, not the education’s.
