We need a female reboot Of the Joker. A woman whos just fucking had it. With misogyny, old white men trying to deny access to health care, lack of representation, unequal pay, sexism, being told to smile, being fearful/objectification... Make the movie of female rage.

A woman has fucking had it with old white men not wanting to give her free stuff anymore and now she's out to get revenge, what a joker! I love how honest she is, this is actually the peak of female misery, and it almost comes off as satirical when compared with typical male problems like loneliness, celibacy, bullying, humiliation, just living an entire life without ever being loved and being hated for it.

I think this tweet unintentionally exposes the great contrast between female and male suffering, and it becomes hilariously obvious how theirs could never justify a joker.

Admittedly that is a dumb idea. The Joker doesn’t do politics or causes; ‘Agent of Chaos,” and all that. He’s not out to deliver a message, unless that message is “KABOOM!” and it comes in the form of a bouquet of roses that ticks.

Now, a female-led reworking of “Falling Down” I could see. I mean, I wouldn’t watch it, “Falling Down” is a classic and doesn’t need a remake, it’s fine as it is. But it would at least fit the notion of “woman pushed to the brink” far better than retooling an established character like the Joker.

Still, I refuse to agree with an incel on any issue, so I’ll just call him an entitled manbaby for thinking he suffers more than anyone else just because his schmecker is destined to a life of dryness, and leave it at that.

There's been so many reboots of Spider-man: but it's still the same basic Marvel character: Peter Parker.

I'll give this so-called 'Joker' a pass: in favour of the Harley Quinn film next year.
