Homeopathy is borderline fraud. It’s just a beverage that is purer than water. You need a glass bigger than our planet to be sure to get an atom of the “diluted” substance.

The only way you can reduce antibiotics with homeopathy, is if a lot of the animals die of deadly diseases when they use homeopathy instead of antibiotics, and there will then be less need for antibiotics in the next generation as there are fewer animals alive.

Do you give your animals certain plants to get better? How exactly is that different from antibiotics? How regulated is this anyway?

Isn’t using unproved cures instead of real drugs to care for diseased animals abuse?

An even bigger issue I see is they seem to keep confusing homeopathy with holistic and natural medicine, which can actually be useful if done right. After all, it’s important to make sure nutrition is properly balanced, and plenty of medical value can be found from several natural sources. Homeopathy though is diluting a chemical associated with causing the illness until it’s practically nothing, and then consuming that.

I know that there’s a growing number of farmers feeding certain kinds of herbs to their livestock to reduce gut inflammation and risk of parasites, thereby reducing the amount of antibiotics and dewormers that the animals need, but that is not homeopathy, it is nutrition and natural medicine.
