That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. POC can be English, French, or Canadian.

You do realize you just stated (thankfully VERY incorrectly) that the Canadian identity is infighting and intolerance including being pitted against those you accept as being “true” Canadians, right? Your view is that being impotently stuck shaking our fists at one another is the default and correct state of being even in a “pure” all-white society? That we don’t recognize mutual interest or benefit and are solely concerned with one-upmanship?

Yeah, anglophones and francophones have a nasty history in this country. One that comes to bloodshed at points. But that doesn’t define our lives and frankly it’s logically inconsistent to think adding another culture and language to the mix makes it any different since you think conflict is the norm. Hell, considering I don’t recall a series of bombings in the name of making another language print larger where it exists on the same product as an English or French description or other assertions of cultural identity weaponized to posture for political clout beyond proportional representation of the population that actually reflects pretty poorly on whites and is an argument against your tribalist bull.

I do not see how, under that concept of Canadian identity, it should exclude the Natives, who, after all, have been in a unique battle and development against and with the English and French settlers for the last few centuries.
