It was astronomer Sir Patrick Moore who mapped the Moon for NASA: prior to what happened 50 years ago.
The fact he hosted the longest regular TV series "The Sky At Night" - from 1957 - is citation enough that he was a leader in his field.
And not just in popularising science.
...but quite a non-sequitur, nay, digression, from discussion on an entry for Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez that Eddie Izzard or Ross Noble could be Reed Richards-esque superheroes.
AOC to Sir Patrick Moore? Quite a stretch eh, Robbie-boy...?!
