[Context: A man was falsely accused of rape by a prejudiced detective who believed the accusee’s charges of rape were motivated by his cultural background.]
Rape means whatever they (women) want it to mean.

For other crimes, false accusations are the minority.
Everyone like Zakli want, want , WANT (male-on-female) rape to be an exception where false accusations are the majority.
Oh that reminds me, I finally got an update on the Neil DeGrasse Tyson allegations.
He's not going to jail so I think it's safe to assume he was cleared on the most serious allegation made by Tchiya Amet El Maat that he drugged and raped her. He won't be losing his job and his TV shows aren't being cancelled but the investigating body declined comment on their findings. I would think if he was completely cleared of misconduct they'd be falling all over themselves to say so and like I said when I first found out the details of two of the allegations even the downplay shows some serious issues with respecting boundaries so I imagine they concluded that at least some of his inappropriate behaviour was deemed deliberate.
But here's the interesting thing: Tchiya Amet declined to speak with the investigators altogether. She claimed she was tired of repeating herself after several interviews with the media however immediately after the announcement the investigation was complete she got right back in contact with the media crying foul claiming that if she were white Tyson would be out of a job and she'd have gotten a cash settlement.
I'm not normally taken to suggesting things like this and I honestly feel kind of dirty as I type but her actions just do not pass the smell test. She was happy to talk to tabloids - and I think it bears mentioning that she chose sensationalist media over more dedicated investigative journalists when promising exclusives and even Buzzfeed expressed some doubts on her credibility when she failed to provide copies of emails she said she had that were supposed to support her claims - but when it came time for the actual investigators to take her statement and corroborate events she was suddenly sick of repeating herself. But that fatigue passed very quickly once the investigation was closed and she was eager to go to the media again to express her righteous fury and then rather than make any comments about what she thought constituted evidence that got ignored or saying there was a refusal to check the facts - and again she avoided speaking with actual investigators - went and played the race card specifically hinting that she wanted money.
As rape is sex without consent, rape is, by its very nature, what the survivor says it is.
Men are raped too, and that is probably even more under-reported than rape of women is.
It’s much more common that rapes are not reported at all. False rape reporting is very, very uncommon, and women in general hate those false-reporters even more than men do, as they make it EVEN HARDER for actual rape-reports to be believed, to be taken seriously. One false rape-report might destroy thousands of actual rape-reports.
Confused?
