Shit my dude, I get that entirely. I'm FTM myself but in repress, because I'm 5'2, VERY fem looking. Even with the hormones and surgeries, I would still be clocked at best, and look like a hairy elven manlet at worst. I can't even chest bind because of how I am shaped, the dysphoria is unreal, but the fear of rejection, fear of the transition going wrong these things scare me more. You are legit brave for making that jump, because FTM has it WAY worse than MTF, at least trans women get fetishized are in the public eye. But no one gives a damn if you are a woman transitioning into a man, and it's so isolating and frustrating!!!

However, there ARE people who would date you, or would want to be your friend! I know that's not a deal breaker for myself to date FTM. You can always feel free to drop a DM my way.

The reason why you feel that MTFs have it better than FTMs is because even "make-believe" women are valuable. Eggs > sperm. Being able to reproduce a human inside you > disposable man. 1 man can repopulate a village in 9 months with all the women. Whereas 1 woman can't get pregnant from a whole village of men at once.

Now, you may say..."but transwomen can't get pregnant". That doesn't matter. Anything that resembles a female has high sexual market value. Almost Pavlovian. If it reminds one of a woman, the same behaviour -- to protect, to provide for, to understand -- is triggered.

The reason you FTMs feel so bad is cuz you put the game on hard mode. You have become a disposable male somewhat. As soon as you became transmen, you became manlets, for instance. But transmen can play up their "i used to be a woman" side if they want to date women. Straight women would rather date a transman than an incel.

Yeahh, from what I know transitioning is much easier and more successful when you’re ftm and not mtf.

So successful that more than half of FTM teens have attempted suicide at least once, compared to only 30% of MTF teens. By transitioning from female to male , you give up all of the privileges women enjoy over men in modern society. Why do you think there are so many more transwomen than transmen? It makes a lot of sense for a feminine man to want to become a woman, but it makes no sense for a masculine woman to want to become a man. Why choose to play life on hard mode when you don't have to?
