I'm not talking about a drunken father who beats his kids in rage, God forbid. I'm talking about kids behaving because they know that if they don't, dad's belt is coming off and you're in for a whipping!!! That fear in the old days made America strong, when Americans obeyed the Bible's command to spare not the rod upon a child. Today kids are turning into Godless homosexuals (and they're ALL Godless, every last one). Homosexuality is a Godless practice, rooted in lust and rebellion against God. To the same degree that Americans accept homosexuals, to that same degree a fearful Police State is going up around us. If men won't fear God, then they will fear men.

My parents never, not even once, spanked or hit me in any way. I am a teacher, have few qualms with my position in life, and work to make future generations educated with the ability to communicate.
Which reminds me: you stray from your central topic, lack cohesion, and it weakens your argument. That, and you're wrong. And a dick.
See, staying on topic strengthens an argument!
Dave, doughy lazy perv of course, pretending he grew up respectful, trustworthy and hardworking because he comes from that woderous neverwas Christian time and place that only the bestest people came from.
Yes, because teaching kids to act absolutely afraid of their parent's disapproval helps them out SOOO MUCH.
But that just makes them easier to control, doesn't it?
"That fear in the old days made America strong, when Americans obeyed the Bible's command to spare not the rod upon a child"
And everybody obeyed the pope.
" If men won't fear God, then they will fear men."
Because men have belts.
You're talking about kids who "behave" because they know that their drunken father will beat them up otherwise.
Beating kids works just as "well" as torture does, really; you get the answer they think you want, and they will "behave" as long as you watch.
America is a secular nation, with Separation of Church and State.
Every last kid in the US is an atheist? There might still be hope for the US, then.
Homosexuality is a natural variation on the sexual orientation scale, just like heterosexuality. Both are rooted in lust.
My parents have never hit any of us kids, to my knowledge. We are all productive members of society, and none of us are homosexual. My youngest brother has recently found religion, I'm an atheist, mom was a Sunday school teacher when I was a kid.
Like I say: Your ex's first mistake was to marry you. But she more than redeemed herself when she ensured that her daughter was - and continues to be - as far away as possible from you. The fact that you'll never be able to enter the mainland again. Ever.
So the fact she denied you your 'Patriarchal' priviledge of beating your own child is another redeeming factor for your ex. Because if you're capable of so much as thinking of doing what resulted in your criminal record - and thus exile - on Guam, then you merely thinking the way you are here proves how fucked up you really are, David J. Pedo.
The 'Homosexuality' non-sequitur was a pathetic attempt at a deflection technique as well. Now just cough up the alimony & child support, Davey-boy: that's the real reason for your impotent screeds such as this one.
You certainly fear Guam's justice system. And your ex's lawyers . >:D
You're not talking about a drunken father beating his children with a belt in rage, you're talking about a sober father beating his children with a belt in rage. So what's the difference to the child if the beating is fueled by alcohol or Jesus?
Using a belt or any other object to beat your kid is abuse, plain & simple. If you can't figure out how to discipline your children without causing them physical pain, then you shouldn't be a parent.
For once I wish conservatives would realize that no spanking =/= no discipline.
David, we are all godless.
@ Swede
You're talking about kids who "behave" because they know that their drunken father will beat them up otherwise.
Christianity in a nutshell; obey the tyrant or else!
Hey Dave, being homosexual does not equal not being disciplined a child.
As for your "holy book's advice", many have used that as an excuse to beat their child.
this quote is reprehensible, especially the idea of kids fearing their parents. but again, I wish the other side of this debate would not label all spanking as abuse without exception.
again, I'm gonna say I was spanked and was not negatively effected by it. I to not condone violence against kids for every little mistake they make nor do I fear my parents.
If men won't fear God, then they will fear men.
At least then they'll fear something that's actually there as opposed the monster in the attic. Though historically speaking, the fear of Yahweh generally manifests as a fear of his wild-eyed, murderous followers anyway.
"a drunken father who beats his kids in rage, God forbid."
God's will, according to you, your Dogma and YOUR ACTUAL SCRIPTURES.
Such a loser piece of shit you are Dave, Even IF you hadn't molested that girl you'd still be a horrible person. Think about THAT Dave. You might be worse than a child molester that admits they're bad and aren't full of shit otherwise. You Dave. are exceptionally awful!
Run that around your little brain then take one of those Steel Guitar strings and do us all a favor.
No I don't mean that, You're entertaining in all the wrong ways.
Take one of those Steel Guitar strings and do that poor little girl a favor.
You can scare your kids your kids so bad they fear you more than death. You can scare them so much they'll say or do anything you tell them without a thought to whether it is right or wrong. You can scare them to the point where they are afraid to take their next breath without your explicit permission. But no amount of fear you could instill in anyone will ever stop you from being the one in the wrong. Nothing can wash away your countless sins, David.
Yes, you probably beat your kids with a hard-on Davey. Luckily for you, you live a long way from me.
I'm glad she got them away from you.
Confused?
