‘Forced intercourse in marriage not rape’

A Delhi court has acquitted a man accused of raping his wife, stating that forced intercourse with a woman does not amount to rape if she is married to the accused.

“The parties being husband and wife, the sexual intercourse between the two does not come within the ambit of the offence of rape, even if the same was against the will and consent of the victim,” additionally sessions judge Virender Bhat said while acquitting Vikash, who was charged with raping his wife.

I wonder how Indian courts would handle it if there were a sudden epidemic of women drugging their husbands then going to town with dildos, scatplay, snowballing, and some seriously not SSC bondage which they film and upload to fetish sites for the world to see their shame? Will rape be nonexistant in marriage then? Not endorsing a crime, of course, even though according to this assholes new legal precedent it wouldn't even be illegal. Rape is among the most evil things you can do to another human being which somehow this shit excuse for a judge cannot quite comprehend but it would certainly put things into perspective for men who are so used to casually telling women to just "get over" not only individual acts of violation but also being told that they should basically live with the expectation that at any time and in any place with no guarantee of safety for as long as they live men will feel free to take their bodies against their will without reprisal or any personal guilt for any excuse that they can invent and worse still while it will be socially accepted for the men the women will be treated like depraved blights on society for being victimized in such a way because they "tempted" the men. Even if men set premeditated traps and ambushes actively hunting for vulnerable victims like the infamous bus incident where Jyoti Singh Pandey's intestines were pulled out. Living in fear that their wives will brutalize and humiliate them horribly with no punishment forthcoming and having that threat just hovering over them at all times and ultimately being treated like there's no real problem might give them an idea of what women have been putting up with all along.

Males are merely lucky that women don’t bother to pull the same crap on them en-masse. I guess it shows that women generally possess more decency. We could easily stoop to the moron-male’s level but we choose not to. Males are LUCKY that the "Collective World Human Female” hasn’t “snapped” after 10,000 years of this nonsense!

There have been plenty of protests against this sort of thing in India and there seems to be a feminist movement awakening. If the Law refuses to do it’s job….it’s time for this woman to hire these gals….

NOTE: Yes; I am aware that India is technically a secular nation with a technically secular government and that there’s also plenty of Muslims and other faiths in that country. That said; Hindus are the majority and people in India tend to be quite religious.

While human beings aren't whole by themselves, to call anyone "nothing" unless bound to another is the basis of the casual dehumanization women have been subjected to and a sign we've failed to learn better than that evil. The only people I'd call nothing are those who actively discard their humanity, ironically they most often do so as they construct reasons to set themselves above other humans. I readily admit that most men I see today could use a humbling and a change of that magnitude would not come without a rude awakening - indeed if calm, civilized reason could accomplish it I imagine this point would have been moot long ago - but no lasting good comes from simply reversing the roles of a poisonous dynamic.

You definitely have a point and I regret my choice of words and amend that part of my comment thusly.

I do not subscribe to misandry nor do I believe women are better than men. In fact, men-hating women get my goat just as much as misogynists.

I separate Masculine & Feminine PRINCIPLES from Male & Female biology. It’s a nuance I haven’t pointed out as well.

Men & Women do NOT NEED each other and can live and thrive independent from each other.

What I meant was that the Masculine & Feminine as metaphysical/cosmic/spiritual/philosophical/etc. PRINCIPLES are meant to work together and co-exist and can’t be apart. Everyone has Feminine & Masculine within them. Both balance each other out.

When the Feminine Principle is rejected or marginalized, it leads to the Masculine mutating into the Toxic Masculine, which bleeds out into the abuse and marginalization of the physical/biological Female.

Also; I agree that we should never stoop to the same misdeeds as the jerks. Like you, I just agree that I’m surprised it hasn’t happened en-masse.

Even the Gulabi Gang has a strict set of guidelines concerning their vigilantism and won’t get involved unless the law has failed. I think they mostly go after property, too rather than actual offender’s heads.
