I know there are some conservative men out there who fantasize about tricking a young liberal woman into marrying him, and then turning into a total abuser to punish her for not being “properly” conservative… but how often does that actually work in real life? I suspect very rarely, in part because most people aren’t that good of actors or able to keep up a false persona consistently for several months minimum, and in part because the typical conservative only “knows” how liberals think and act based on stuff they collectively made up.
