Elon Musk has earned every single penny he's made. I hope he’s a trillionaire because guess what? With his money, he’s literally letting blind people see, he’s letting paralyzed people walk. I want him to have the money. Not Elizabeth Warren who’s gonna funnel it to fraud in Somalia!

Earned? Like he earned the diamond mines his family owned? The guy buys promising businesses and then claims he founded them, while draining public money into his coffers and covering up his lawbreaking through his control of politicians. The impulse to see rich people as better than oneself is a hell of a psychological disorder.
I’m honestly not sure if I am really qualified to judge whether someone I don’t personally know has really “earned” the money he’s made. Now, OK, if Musk is really doing those things, letting blind people see and letting paralyzed people walk, sure, that’d be admirable. But that’s two totally different questions, anyway, aint it? Whether someone has truly earned their money vs whether they’re doing good things with that money. Those don’t necessarily go hand in hand, I think…

100 percent agreeing on that. I guess it’s cus when I grew up, we were like, uh what’s the word….comfortably middle-class I guess. Dad had the decently paying blue collar job (which maybe doesn’t exist anymore these days like it did then, but’s a whole other issue lol), we had a decent house in the suburbs, and all that. I never looked down on people poorer than me, because I’d heard enough stories from my mom, who grew up like that. (and she always does describe her childhood as being happy, even tho they were barely scraping by at times)
Everytime I see the word ‘trillionaire,’ my mind jumps to Ted Faro from Horizon Zero Dawn , and suddenly I don’t want trillionaires to exist. Mostly because once they have that much money, there is literally nothing stopping them from indulging in every poorly thought whim that comes to them, like investing in shitty rockets that explode, or shitty electric cars that explode, or giant war machines that feed on ruined biomass and have decided that taking orders from said biomass really is optional.
Okay, maybe not that last one, but why take the chance?
I despise billionares by principle already because they hoard more money than any single human can possibly use in a lifetime, all the while a large majority of people across the world are living in severe poverty and hunger. So imagine what I think about the world’s sole trillionare.
Money is and always should be a means to an end, not an end by itself.
Not to mention Muskrat is just a very unpleasant, racist, megalomaniac douchenozzle who also uses his money to interfere with elections, foreign and domestic, thus upending democracy.

Frankly, at this point I almost kinda hope “super AIs” will take over the world. I don’t think they can be that much more malevolent than some human leaders are… Unless of course, they decide to use us as an example. In that case, we’re fucked.
I think people change psychologically when they become super wealthy, and not for the better. More greedy, more selfish, far more callous. Concentrating wealth like that in one individual's hands is very risky. Bring back the wealth tax!
With his money, he’s literally letting blind people see, he’s letting paralyzed people walk
But is Elongated Muskrat actually doing the research himself…?
NASA may have sent it there, but they always credit JPL with what they put on Mars: Perseverance. Landed so ultra-successfully by the former, that by the latter which still works perfectly to this day. That NASA/JPL rover sent it’s first message back to Earth via a pre-Xitter Twitter.
Meanwhile, Muskrat has still to this day barely looked at Mars through a telescope.
…but still while standing on the shoulders of giants.
No. No he's not doing any of those things. His money, sure. But engineers and scientists are doing those things, and often forced to rush results under pressure from him.
And even then, no, no he hasn't done any of those things.
Neuralink is decades behind what a lot of other countries have managed. So far it's had control of a cursor in a paraplegic. Big whoop. Braingate was doing that 20 years ago. A Swiss team has been working on electrically assisted bypass of spinal column injuries since 2014. In 2014, restoring movement to an arm, in the early 20's, three chronic paraplegics were able to perform assisted walking, and 2023 saw their first wireless brain-spine digital bridge translating intention to movement in Gert-Jan Oskam.
Making the blind see? He hasn't even started trials. We've had implanted electrodes restoring ability to see light and even see basic patterns since the seventies . Argus II prosthetic retina has had FDA approval for implantation since 2014, and brain implants have been placed in a blind woman by a US/Spanish team 5 years ago, letting her see outlines and basic patterns of objects for the first time in 16 years.
The miniturisation and high-bandwidth processing is cool and all.
But Elon Musk didn't invent brain interfaces, neural implants or artificial vision - and his tech hasn't made a single person walk or see when they couldn't before.
“Elon Musk has earned every single penny he's made.”
AHAHAHAHAHAHA Wait, you were serious? AHAHAHAHAHAHA!

She’s a “columnist” for the tabloid toilet paper New York Post. Her latest banger, I shit you not, is titled “The White House proved today that embracing Al is a winning message”.
I think she’s just traffics in fractal wrongness.
Elon Musk has earned every single penny he's made.
This is the same lie they always tell themselves. ‘Oh, so and so deserves all that money because they earned it!!’ All the while gleefully implying that poor people are poor because we haven’t earned it. And then they tie themselves up in knots trying to defend this horrific mode of thinking if questioned just the tiniest bit about how lots of very hardworking people aren’t super rich.

Well not even in Diablo, I personally think arcade games with their high reflex and memorization needed for high score are WAY out of his league. Perhaps a Simon says game would be more his speed? I mean it is ages 3 and up, right?
Confused?
