I love the folks at Harvest Baptist Church on Guam. They won my heart and have had it since 2014, but because they are diehard Neo-evangelicals, they drove me out of their church as a Fundamentalist. That is what's at the root core of the matter, nothing else! Like the Apostle Paul, I told THE TRUTH, and they couldn't handle it. Galatians 4:16, “Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?” Since I am not an apostle, the pastors at Harvest have no respect for my preaching, but I am telling THE TRUTH. It doesn't matter who I am, the truth is what matters. I know God is on my side, because I am telling THE TRUTH. Romans 3:4, “God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.”

In 2017, I literally begged to come back to Harvest, because I was in love with a woman there. I humbled myself to Pastor Marty Herron. I explained my broken and traumatic life. I explained that I am a graduate of Hyles-Anderson College, which he already knew. I offered to voluntarily do any job they had for me to do, to be a part of their ministry. I offered to clean toilets, literally. Pastor Herron threw me under the bus. He cruelly told me to, “Go elsewhere,” to find a church that agreed with my beliefs.

David joins this church, Harvest. He then, with somewhat good intentions, starts pushing his extreme IFB weirdness on them. They ask him to leave. He raves at them on the internet, literally saying their church is satanic. He then begs to come back a few years later, not because he’s had a change of heart, not because he feels terrible for being such an asshole, but because he wants to stalk a girl there. He has publicly bragged about this on his many sites. Harvest refuses to let David join. This is not unreasonable.

Looks like somebody’s doing a good job of banging his daughters. Or did those babies fall from heaven? Lots of “oh my god” going on there.

Btw, the good pastor left Harvest Baptist in August of 2018, so David’s hate is a little dated. And isn’t it a little rich when a fundamentalist (Herron) accuses somebody else (Stewart) of being a fundamentalist?

Ok, quiz time. Can anybody spot the contradiction? I know, it’s hard to find, but just read the text a few times and maybe you’ll see it.

Btw, I wonder what “family” he’s talking about. As far as I know, at least 3 of his kids and his ex-wife are back on the mainland (in the South, of course).

Have you ever considered the possibility of trying to get to know her at some other venue? Like, you know, try to find out her interests, and if it turns out there are some that you share, get her to meet through these shared interests?
Of ccourse not. That would mean admitting that women are people of their own, rather than doormats with no livees outside of being some man’s Reward for Common Decemcy.

I’m wondering if maybe what David isn’t telling us about is some other behavior at Harvest Baptist Church in 2014.

It is unlikely that Herron said to Stewart anything like “Your Fundamentalist beliefs do not belong in this church”. That is Stewart’s take - it is Stewart who is saying “They drove me out of their church as a Fundamentalist”. He regards himself as the true Fundamentalist and Herron as the false one.

As for the family, Stewart sometimes talks about a ‘church family’. Possibly (hopefully?) this is what he means here.
