There are only three truly censorship resistant technologies at scale today: tor, bitcoin, and nostr.
All are currently niche…showing most of the world doesn’t actually care about censorship.
Granted, these technologies aren’t yet accessible or easy to use. But…they will be!

Tor and Nostr at least aren’t innately malign, despite how such scurrilous things as Silk Road greatly depend/ed on the former. Bitcoin, however, is strict scam, and environmentally woeful to boot. Being putatively censorship-proof does not exonerate it. Let cryptocurrency be dispelled in full.

Bitcoin also has very high processing times and a harsh hardcap on transactions that ensure that make it logistically impossible for it to become mainstream. And of course, it is actually is epically fails when it comes to eluding teh evul big guvment’s pro I mean persecution, seeing as everything is indelibly documented in a publically readable log (and now with NFTs, the cryptobros not only broadcast themselves as such, but even provide a convenient way to connect wallet and owner even more easily!).
The point being? Hitman crowdfunding? Also, using TOR Onion routing is easy with various widely accessible browsers. Still, it's neither perfect nor without its drawbacks, a simple user misuse can disclose a lot of information, for instance. Then there are network-level based timing attacks and rogue nodes.

Yeah, I’ve used Tor myself in the past, it was easy enough. If someone’s not computer-literate enough to figure it out, they’re probably someone who would never use it anyway.

The Nazis thought their precious Enigma code was unbreakable. Bletchley Park proved Shitler wrong.

Guess who has Quantum CPUs in their supercomputers today, Jackie-boy.
If GCHQ (who scan the entire telecommunications network) & NSA can compromise the Dark Web - thus denying you snowflakes of your right to ‘Safe Spaces’ - who’s to say they haven’t done the same to the Blockchain, o Shitcoin blockheads…?!
A Quantum CPU isn’t a GPU: even a NVidia RTX 4090.
Confused?
