Lol this show how much pretty girls live in delusion and how forgiving/welcoming their world is. She wouldn't be saying this crap if she was ugly.

Half the time they're not actually deluded tho. They know exactly how much it matters and are just perpetuating the "looks don't matter" type statements because they gain likes and it makes them seem less shallow. I've known girls like this irl and when you get to know them better and mention these things in a drunk all-guards-down moment, trust me, they'll openly admit to not believing half the bullshit they spew.

I've known too many people who looked good on the outside but were actual monsters underneath to believe for one second anything useful can be told by looks alone.

This guy's story proves my argument: There he sees a pretty woman who, in an attempt to look less shallow, posts memes about beauty standards while secretly judging others. Is she truly a 10? Knowing what he knows about her, can he still call her a "top tier Stacy"? If so, then he's just as obsessed with looks as she is. I mean, obviously, if she's making fun of other people when drunk - in vino, veritas - how great is she really?

I’ve seen some of the women these people call 10⁄10, and frankly, they tend to look butt ugly to me. Overly made-up is often the biggest problem, but proportions being way off don’t help, like super huge breasts, butt half their body weight, and waist like a toothpick. The women I find most attractive these men call 4- wannabe Beckys, because they actually look like real women. So looks like beauty really is in the eye of the beholder.

I’d say it’s rather ordinary-looking people who say “Beauty is in the eye of the beholder”. I have said it many times, and I’m neither 10/10 nor a “Stacy”. (I don’t think the gals they portray as “Stacy” are beautiful, btw; too artificial and disproportionate.)

What it means is that if you like someone, they are beautiful to you, and if you dislike someone, they can be ugly to you.
I love my mother, and she’s very beautiful in my eyes.
Three girls at my old school were mean to me, and I found them very ugly, though they were probably seen as pretty by most.

Life isn’t ALL roses and kisses if you’re beautiful, either. Sure, some things are easier, but they are often not taken seriously, they are just seen as a pretty face, a clothes-hanger, someTHING to put make-up on and do the hair, not an actual human being.

I know many girls who are on the pretty side, who see themselves as ugly. Women have a huge pressure to be pleasing.
