I mention before but alot Japanese folk don’t like you either, in fact, they don’t like anyone who isn’t Japanese (they masked it with politeness but the moment the enviable ‘have no choice but to allow anyone to immigrant to Japan’ happens, that mask disappears entirely and the more blatantly bigotted Japanese folk will let their true feelings shine), as Japan’s culture is still very much bigoted, isolationist and narrow-minded when it comes to race and ethnic issues (they still have issues with ethnic groups in their nation that are decidedly not Yamatan being discriminated against due to their non-Yamantan background.

Because Japan puts instructions like that up in the languages of their most common visitors. Which, for Japan, is quite a lot of languages. If OP had waiting, he’d have seen English, French, Spanish, Arabic, Russian, and probably at least a dozen other languages just on that escalator. You can already see what I think is Chinese below that Korean text.
Or were you asking why he’s complaining about Korean? Probably because that’s what he saw, and he didn’t bother paying attention to anything else, as is common for people who complain about things they know nothing about.
Well, I guess Japan has extra time to add English to all the signs for their 2021 Tokyo Olympics.

...oh, and why are the Four Goddesses of Manga, CLAMP, known to be Anglophiles ? The ultra-powerful wizard Clow Reed: half-English. Why did Ken Akamatsu have his main character in "Negima Magister Negi Magi" come from Wales ?
And why can one only get from Japan the best replica of the gun used by Deckard: in "Blade Runner"...?!
Syd Mead, who created the look of that basis of Cyberpunk, also did the production designs - especially the eponymous mecha - of "Turn A Gundam": so there's your entire argument obliterated, OP.
...also Baseball .
Confused?
