VICTOR DAVIS HANSON (GUEST): We're afraid or we don't want to talk about this whole trans phenomenon, which historically, if you look at sexologists of the 19th century, they they coined the word gender dysphoria. There's common examples in antiquity in Catullus, for example, or Petronius' Satyricon of people who cross dress and think they belong to the other sex. But it's always considered very, very rare.
And this idea that it's 10 percent of the population — and then when you inject drugs and all of these things that we talk about, hormones, these dangerous drugs that usually the left says are too dangerous and physicians are overreaching, now they have the opposite view. And then you look at the percentage of trans shooters in mass shootings.

MEGYN KELLY (HOST): Its disturbingly high. By the way, I want to say —
HANSON: It's way over represented. Yeah. You I want to can't talk about that. You can't talk about it.
KELLY: I'm done using the term trans, done. I will say someone is gender confused — sometimes they genuinely are.
HANSON: Yeah.
KELLY: Sometimes they're faking it, but there's no such thing as trans. That's not a thing. You can't transition your gender.
We've been engaging in this fiction for too long. We've been playing their game by using that word. That's a made-up word to describe something that is a mental illness for which people deserve compassion and empathy and support, not to transition themselves, but to get comfortable with their own natural God-given body and biological sex. But I think the proper term is just that person's gender confused. It's a man who's gender confused. That's it. There's no more trans. I'm not using that word anymore. It's made up.
But I agree with every word you said.
HANSON: Yeah.
KELLY: That too, the anger in that community, the violence in that community has been unleashed on too many unsuspecting Americans already, children and adults and national treasures like Charlie [Kirk], and easily explains the violence that we saw nearly one year ago today.
