Only that wasn't the Democrat message at all. Just the lies the right told.

“It’s a BABY from the moment after conception” is akin to creationists going “Evolution covers EVERYTHING back to the alleged Big Bang!”

Pretty incredible that the “Nazi Germany meets RoboCop meets Handmaiden’s Tale, fuck yeah!” message seems to work for a lot of people.

Or perhaps more people heard the GOP/Trumptards' so-called 'message': and found it wanting.

This is the message sent by those who vote AGAINST legal limits on price gouging.
Those who vote FOR tax breaks for the rich, fuck-all for the poor.
Those who bitch about money spent on Ukraine instead of Americans, but call spending on Americans “socialism.”
People are, you know, watching you fuckers.

How odd. The messages are:
YOU can make your choises.
or
WE can make YOUR choice for you. All of you. And with time, all of your choices.

And which one did you expect would resonate? My oh my, what a conundrum.

Less safe? It's not the Democrats who refuse to enact sensible gun regulations. People are sick of sacrificing schoolchildren on the altar of the NRA.

But then, we've pointed out before that Republicans are just fine with "post-birth abortions" so long as they happen by gunfire.

It works for you, it doesn't mean that it's true... It's your way of shutting down rational thought and misrepresenting others.
