Lies they tell femcels

I am so grateful this community exists. Just a few people understanding what I have experienced lifts a huge weight of my shoulders. Thankyou, all of you, from the bottom of my heart.

In high school, well meaning adults fed me lies. I know it wasn't malicious; they just wanted to make the fat ugly weird girl feel better for a little while. At least they didn't join in with the bullying, like a few of the other teachers. These are the lies that were the most frequent, the most false, and the ones I desperately wish were true.

"They're just jealous of you!"

No. Stacy is not jealous of my fat rolls, shyness and uneven eyes. She just finds it amusing when I cry. Becky is not jealous of my disgusting nose, social awkwardness and terrible sense of style. She just thinks I am gross.

"He secretly likes you!"

No. He just knows that by insulting me, he simultaneously impresses Stacy and signals to his fellow moids that ugly girls are beneath him. And he knows that if he is caught, adults will not intervene, since "He secretly likes you!" is apparently gospel.

"You're so clever!"

No. I'm below average. Memorising facts from a book does not equal intelligence.

"You're so talented!"

No. Being good at art in comparison to a bunch of kids who have no interest in art whatsoever is not talent. Badly copying a simple cartoon will not get me into art college.

"You will be rich one day, and the kids who bully you will work at McDonalds!"

What's wrong with working at McDonalds? I would kill for a job at McDonalds! I am not rich, in fact I am jobless, and the kids who picked on me are doing great.

"You will get the last laugh!"

Unless I win the lottery or become Prime Minister, that's not going to happen.

I have resisted the urge to look at the Facebook profiles of my former bullies for years. Today I couldn't resist any longer. And I found that they are all still friends with each other. They all have great jobs. They are all good looking. They all go to parties, have full social lives, and provide for their families. They are all in relationships, most of them are married. They all have adorable children. Their lives are brilliant.

They were not jealous. They didn't secretly like me. And I didn't get the last laugh. It was all lies.

This. I get great grades but I have literally no friends and have been borderline fired from my first job and actually low-key fired from my second job, because of my stunted social skills and anxiety.

"You will be rich one day, and the kids who bully you will work at McDonalds!"

BAHAHAHAHA! Don't these people know that bullies literally rule the world? They rule the world because they don't think twice about backstabbing and taking advantage of people, and they take more risks. Half the airheads at my high school who had terrible grades but loyal followers because of their beauty, started their own business because of their looks and connections.

Yes to all of this a thousand times over!!! Most of the beautiful girls from my high school are doing something to do with hair and beauty. Their face is their resume/CV.

Gods! My mother says this all the time. It's annoying, and I know they bearely tolerate me.

My mother used to say that, too :( Some girls did get bullied because other girls were jealous of them, but those girls were insanely talented and beautiful. I was dumb, fat and ugly. And none of the bullies came from a culture where fatness is seen as a sign of wealth, so no jealousy there lol!

“Guys don approach you because they are too scared/intimidated”

Yet I’ve seen 1/10 men approach 8-9/10 stacies with zero issue. If men are attracted to you, you will know it.

Yes to this lol! My mother is beautiful, and fat, balding old men always try to approach her. It's both hilarious and embarrassing.
