Being a woman now for nigh-on 50 years, and knowing quite a few other women during those years, I'd say that "NO, do NOT try to portray yourselves as dogs". Try to be pleasant, easygoing, fun-loving MEN, and some women will be interested in you. Sure, not every single woman will find you interesting; you have to meet a lot of women before you find the right one for you. After all, there are about 3,5 BILLION different women in the world.
