It’s not the atheists that fall apart facing death. I remember 9/11. A BUNCH of the ‘faithful’ were shocked to their cores that god allowed this sort of shit. Not all of them dealt with it well. But they refused to admit doubt, they refused to ask for help, they kept up a facade of being satisfied with God at all times… And got worse and worse.
