White House staff updated the so-called “Presidential Walk of Fame” Wednesday by adding lengthy descriptions of each former president, in rhetoric that aligns with President Donald Trump’s – such as calling former President Joe Biden “the worst President in American History”[…]
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said, “The plaques are eloquently written descriptions of each President and the legacy they left behind. As a student of history, many were written directly by the President himself”

“Sleepy Joe was, by far, the worst President in American History,” the plaque underneath Biden’s portrait, which is an autopen as opposed to his official portrait, reads. “Taking office as a result of the most corrupt Election ever seen in the United States”

As part of Obama’s description, the White House wrote: “As President, he passed the highly ineffective ‘Unaffordable’ Care Act, resulting in his party losing control of both Houses of Congress, and the Election of the largest House Republican majority since 1946”

For former President Bill Clinton, the White House attributed his legislative successes to “Republicans in Congress,” and boasted that Trump terminated the North American Free Trade Agreement, the trade deal struck under Clinton. The White House also included a line about how Hillary Clinton lost the 2016 presidential election in Bill Clinton’s description

However, some former presidents, more aligned with Trump on policies, such as Reagan, receive more of a doting description

For Reagan, the White House wrote: “Known as ‘The Great Communicator,’ he was re-elected in a landslide in 1984, and left office with high approval... He was a fan of President Donald J. Trump long before President Trump’s Historic run for the White House. Likewise, President Trump was a fan of his!”[…]
The White House seemingly gave props to former President Gerald Ford in his description for issuing a “brave Pardon to Richard Nixon”

President Trump said in an interview that he believed civil rights-era protections resulted in white people being “very badly treated,” his strongest indication that the concept of “reverse discrimination” is driving his aggressive crusade against diversity policies

Speaking to The New York Times on Wednesday, Mr. Trump echoed grievances amplified by Vice President JD Vance and other top officials who in recent weeks have urged white men to file federal complaints with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission

When asked whether protections that began in the 1960s, spurred by the passage of the Civil Rights Act, had resulted in discrimination against white men, Mr. Trump said he believed “a lot of people were very badly treated”

“White people were very badly treated, where they did extremely well and they were not invited to go into a university to college,” he said, an apparent reference to affirmative action in college admissions. “So I would say in that way, I think it was unfair in certain cases”

He added: “I think it was also, at the same time, it accomplished some very wonderful things, but it also hurt a lot of people — people that deserve to go to a college or deserve to get a job were unable to get a job. So it was, it was a reverse discrimination”

[Trump] then went on to espouse that Democrats love “open borders,” “men in women’s sports,” and “transgender for everyone.” He yelled his latter comment and went on to share a string of lies.

“Bring your kids in, we’re gonna change the sex of your child,” he said, “In some cases, like in Minnesota, they don’t even tell the parents… The kid comes back, they keep the kid, they operate on the kid, they don’t tell the parents,” he said, adding, quite ironically, “It’s not believable.”

That’s because it’s not true. Nowhere in America do children receive any kind of gender-affirming surgery – or any surgery for that matter – without parental involvement.

President Donald Trump’s suggestion Tuesday that his Board of Peace “might” replace the United Nations is likely to compound concerns that the body meant to oversee the reconstruction of Gaza — and that he will indefinitely chair — will instead become a vehicle for him to attempt to supersede the body established 80 years ago to maintain global peace.

Before Trump’s comments, some diplomats already had myriad concerns over the board’s possible membership and the fact a permanent seat is up for sale at $1 billion.

The White House on Friday announced a “founding Executive Board,” including Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, special envoy Steve Witkoff and former British prime minister Tony Blair.

And according to the charter draft, a copy of which was obtained by CNN, Trump will serve as indefinite chairman of the board, possibly holding the post beyond his second term as president. Trump will be replaced only due to “voluntary resignation or as a result of incapacity, as determined by a unanimous vote of the Executive Board.” A future US president can appoint or designate the US representative to the board in addition to Trump, a US official said.

Although some, such as the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, have confirmed their participation, others have yet to commit — and some, such as France, have declined.

Russia is among the nations invited to join, raising alarm about how a country actively waging war could be involved in an effort to secure peace. China and Belarus have also been invited.

The media owes JD Vance, and all of America a big apology. The Minneapolis ICE shooting is literally Covington 2026. The video clearly shows the ice officer getting hit by the car. She comes right at him. It doesn’t get more conclusive than that. Thread…

President Donald Trump on Sunday blamed Renee Nicole Macklin Good and her wife, Becca Good for Wednesday’s fatal shooting of Good by an Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent, portraying the 37-year-old Minneapolis mother as “very radical,” “very violent,” and “highly disrespectful” toward law enforcement[…]
Speaking aboard Air Force One, Trump defended the actions of ICE agent Jonathan Ross, who shot Good three times during a federal immigration operation in Minneapolis on January 7. In his remarks, the president repeatedly cast Good and her wife as agitators whose conduct, he suggested, made the deadly encounter foreseeable. “At a very minimum, that woman was very, very disrespectful to law enforcement,” Trump said, adding that Good and “her friend were highly disrespectful of law enforcement.” He went on to describe them as “professional agitators” and questioned who might be “paying for it”[…]
There is no evidence to support Trump’s claim that Good and her wife were “professional agitators” or that they had been harassing ICE for hours before the shooting. Her family has said she had just dropped her child off at elementary school when the fatal encounter unfolded

In his comments, Trump repeatedly avoided acknowledging that Good was married to a woman, referring to her wife only as “her friend”

President Donald Trump on Tuesday flipped off an autoworker during an appearance at a Ford plant in Dearborn, Michigan, dropping an F-bomb during the interaction for good measure.
Trump threw the bird after a worker in the crowd called him a “pedophile protector,” presumably a reference to the president’s relationship with the late sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein ― and his efforts to prevent the release of Justice Department files regarding Epstein in its possession. Trump glowers as someone below yells, “Pedophile protector!” He sharply snaps to attention and points a finger at the factory floor below.
“Fuck you!” Trump mouths, continuing to point as he walks away.
