Helping the homeless must NEVER take precedence over preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ . . . “And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing ... Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth” (1st Corinthians 13:3,6). The word “charity” here means LOVE. 1st Corinthians 13:6 tells us that genuine Biblical LOVE rejoices in THE TRUTH.
Sadly, many apostate religious groups today such as the Salvation Army have compromised their convictions, spending most of their time helping the needy at the expense of preaching the truth. What does it matter if we feed the hungry, cloth the naked and shelter the homeless if they die and go to Hell because we failed to preach the Gospel to them? I wouldn't give you a dime for any ministry that is not aggressively preaching the Gospel and placing the truth of God's Word at the forefront of their ministerial efforts. This is critically important.

Furthermore, disco music is frequently upbeat and atheism is not commonly seen as being upbeat - particularly in theistic countries (See: Hopelessness of atheism and Atheism and depression).

In the documentary they say that the Amish do not believe it is good to over-educate their children, so they limit school to grade school and keep things simple. That being said, something disturbing caught my attention by the female narrator in the documentary. She said that Amish teachers base their ideologies about creation on the Holy Bible, while “biological evolution and all scientific evidence are ignored” (see 11:30 time in the video). What an ignorant thing for her to say!
First, there is no evidence in support of the hypothesis of evolution. Creationism had never formally been “taken out” of U.S. schools, but in 1987 the ungodly U.S. Supreme Court ruled in Edwards v. Aguillard that teaching creation science in public schools violates the First Amendment’s Establishment Clause. What hypocrisy! Teachers are not allowed to teach children biblical Creation, but they must preach the bogus fabricated lies of evolution; and that somehow isn’t supposed to violate Christian family’s rights. Truly, Satan is the god of this world (2nd Corinthians 4:4). Despite the ridiculous speculation, movies and claims of the atheist and agnostic heathen community, no Neanderthal man (half gorilla-half man) creature has ever been discovered. And if men evolved from monkeys, why are there still monkeys? It’s common sense folks.

She was tall, as are many of the girlfriends and wives of the men in my extended family, so I paid her no note. That was until I walked into the main room of the house and I saw someone else. Another woman, I thought at first, from behind, but then my son turned around. I recognized him immediately, even through the heavy makeup warping his looks. My heart dropped. I froze. He froze, like a deer in headlights, then, like a deer, he scurried away into the kitchen. I followed, not even bothering to alert my wife, who had not noticed him yet. In the kitchen I saw my son, with the “woman” I had seen earlier. Then I recognized him too, my son’s husband – his childhood boyfriend, also confused about his gender. My blood boiled. I went to them and they stopped their panicked conversation. I said their names, and their faces warped – my son’s in false sadness, his husband’s in fury.

I said that I missed them.
I said that my wife missed them.
I said they are still welcome with us.

They did not appreciate this. My son exploded. He had seen my PITT essay, had hated it and thought it was full of lies. I asked him to be kind. I reminded him that I am his father and it was a holiday. He went on a tirade saying he was a she, he was a lesbian, claiming I broke his “wife’s” trust, I broke his trust and closed by demanding respect including use of his chosen name and pronouns. He and his husband left and I rejoined my wife. She was angry at me for not telling her that her son was here, but she understood. She was hurt, too. Nobody, not one person who has not gone through this understands the pain that is felt by a parent of a “trans-identifying” kid.

Men-only gyms seek to protect Christian men from lust

To reach that peak, the Christian manosphere believes men need to be in top physical and spiritual shape. So one way they’re proposing to accomplish that is through “lust-free” gyms.

“Why are we men’s only? Who are we?” asks Jeff Hambrecht, founder of Proverbs 27:17 Fitness in Oklahoma City. “In a nutshell, one of the No. 1 places affairs and infidelity occur, cheating, is the gym. Byproduct is someone who had an affair in my previous marriage. Doesn’t work out well for you fellas.”

According to the gym’s website, “There was a season of his life marked by homelessness, addiction and spiritual emptiness.” In another video, he admits, “I had a pornography addiction for almost 20 years.”

Mitch Parsons, founder of Youth Group for Men and Remnant Men in Denver, had a similar experience. “I quit four gyms before I built one,” he says on the Remnant Gym website. “I realized the problem wasn’t the gym. It was that no one had built what I actually needed, or what I wanted.”

“I was tired of having nakedness shoved in my face every time I walked into a gym to train,” Parsons claims. “I had to choose between honoring the Lord, honoring my wife, and guarding my eyes, or training my body. So I quit four gyms.”

Both male-only gyms take inspiration from Proverbs 27:17, which says, “As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.”

Rather than having a gym where “nakedness” supposedly gets “shoved in his face,” Parsons dreams of “a place where Christian men gather, sharpen each other, and are formed under the fear of the Lord.”

His vision is for men to “sharpen each other in brotherhood” and suggests, “Real sharpening requires daily proximity to other faithful men who refuse to let you drift.”

During an appearance on It’s Supernatural! with Sid Roth, #1 New York Times bestselling author and Bible teacher Jonathan Cahn argued that the July 13, 2024, assassination attempt against President Donald Trump bears striking parallels to the biblical consecration of Israel’s priests.

Speaking with Roth, Cahn pointed to the Old Testament ritual described in Leviticus, where priests were consecrated through a ceremonial anointing involving blood placed on the right ear, the right hand and the foot before entering their sacred office.

According to Cahn, the details surrounding Trump’s shooting closely resemble that biblical pattern.

“What happens with the right ear?” Cahn asked during the interview. “It was the right ear… Blood on the right ear… It’s exactly what happens to Trump.”

Cahn also noted that immediately after being struck, Trump reached up with his right hand to touch his wounded ear, drawing another parallel to the priestly consecration ritual.

He further observed that Trump’s shoes were removed while Secret Service agents secured him after the shooting, connecting that detail to the biblical description of priests ministering barefoot before the Lord.

Not one person is being 'mean' to trans people, including Sophie. The desire to protect women's sports isn't being mean to men who want to dress up like women. It's respecting women enough to protect their right to play competitive sports.

Also, protecting women's sports has nothing to do with the feelings of men. It's not about respecting their feelings. It's about women. It's ok to center women sometimes. If men who dress up like women don't like that, cry about it.

This is so silly. Not one woman has been dehumanizing to the trans community. Telling them no is a boundary. It's fine.

These people are utterly exhausting. It doesn't harm a trans person to say they can't participate in women's sports. If they want to be an athlete, they have the option of participating with their biological sex. They don't because they aren't good enough. Let's be clear.

Weirdly violence is okay as long as it's used by either non-masculine males (like Eliot Page) who is described as 'the greatest soldier' or by Ulysses against the stuck up rich people because rich people are bad.

There's no nuance, no exploration, and no empathy. People are assumed to be on the lower end of the wealth scale (or at least happy to declare themselves there) emphasizing only with people based on their income, their social status, and whether or not they support killing because of obligation...or killing out of personal interest. Apparently personal interest is morally superior.

It's not a parable, it's propaganda. The world warps to suit an outcome.

It's like Pirates of The Caribbean trying to argue that the poor murderous thieving pirates are VICTIMS compared to the big bad East India Trading Company for the crime of being...less diverse?

It's like The Mandalorian and Grogu literally cheering on the unsanctioned bombing of a planet by the Rebel Alliance because 'they're the good guys'.

It's like the heroic aliens in the Avatar movies recently demanding that an ancient goddess kill all humans everywhere. Because genocide is okay if the HEROES do it.

Frankly this drifting from protagonists with interesting motives and checkered stories to remorseful but equally villainous 'heroes' with victimhood exemptions is destroying my interest in contemporary works.

As a pro-choicer: pro-choicers need to acknowledge that yeah, abortion is killing a human.

I’m pro choice, I get it. Morally, ethically, philosophically, all that. I understand and appreciate the importance of having that choice. What I don’t understand however, is the pro choice movement trying to act like abortion is not killing a human? It’s definitely killing a human.

I feel like the pro choice movement needs to just stand on business. Pulling the plug on grandma is “killing” grandma. Same idea, but we don’t say “kill” simply because we don’t want to say that we killed grandma. When kill is absolutely the correct word too.

Embryos, fetus, clump of cells. It’s all human. It was never an alien. It def is killing a human. Can we move on from that and PROGRESS from that convo though. Like maybe discuss why it’s ethical to “kill” meemaw .. and why/how that applies elsewhere.
