As I watched the speech last night, Sean, the thought going through my mind is, 'I owe America a global apology. Because John McCain, through all of this, John McCain should be our president.'

OK, McCain never saw a war he wasn't ready to jump into. He has no idea how economics works.
Then he would have died.
Then we would have had the stupidest President since Harding: Sarah Palin.
If she just with "I owe America a global apology", it would have the first sane thing she said.
However, the quote went on & it was stupid.
But a planet-sized apology alone is what she, McCain & the whole GOP, Tea Party, Teahadi religious folks, FOX Noise, Ronald Reagan in the afterlife, etc. OWE US!
Nix that, a Cosmic Supercluster-sized apology....then they should all move to Russia, give us the few Progressive & LGBT Russians and we'll all be happy!
I'm not expecting Sarah Palin to think, she does not have enough brain cells to do that.
And while I'm not an American, after what they did in the last decade I don't think any republican should get anywhere near the white house until they get their heads out of their asses. And certainly no person ever mentioned by that low-functioning madwoman Palin.
John McCain has been pushing for us to declare war on every country (except for maybe Canada and Lesotho) every week for the last six years.
But that's not why I'm glad John McCain didn't win. Okay, it's a major fucking factor, but not the biggest or most important.
No, the biggest reason why I'm glad John McCain didn't win, is because the old man would probably not be able to handle the stress of running the country and would most likely have died before the end of 2011 if he had won in 2008.
Then we would have had Caribou Barbie at the helm of the most powerful military on Earth.
And I can't think of anything more scary than that.

It's the first I've heard her admit her performance tanked McCains chances.
I'm willing to give her an out on this though as McCain (and her) ran a campaign that completely worshipped and committed itself to Bush/Cheney redo. That was only the first hint of how stupid she was/is.

I'll give her a pass on that slip too, it pales to the volume and level of stupidity this women exhibits every month since she hit the national stage. That's actually a reasonable slip of the tongue or mindfart that even those with a brain could make.
Her worse failure was she didn't capitalize on it with " Well, I'm not one of those Washington insiders that know where my dependency paycheck is, Latte salute y'all"
If John McCain ought to be your president, he shouldn't have picked you as a running mate.
John McCain probably would have done many of the things Obama is doing. He's a pretty moderate Republican. I'm surprised Palin can support someone who accepts and supports his homosexual daughter.
Your the reason McCain lost. I actually would have voted for him if not for you and I know many people who feel the same way. Sarah Palin you are the reason Obama is president.
